Sophomore 6-9 Portland, Oregon

- Scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked four shots in UK’s win at Vanderbilt.

- Scored just four points, but did have seven rebounds, in 19 minutes against Florida.

- Terrific game at South Carolina with 16 points, six rebounds and four assists.

- Scored 11 points, grabbed six rebounds and had three assists in win over Tennessee on Jan. 31. The three assists were most Jones has had in a game since three against Portland on Nov. 26.

- Had his best game of the season Jan. 28 at LSU, scoring a season-high 27 points with nine rebounds. Made 10 of 16 shots from floor and seven of eight from the free throw line.

- At Georgia, Jones managed just five points, his lowest output since he was held to two points in the win over Louisville.

- His 15 points against Alabama is his highest total since he scored 20 against South Carolina in UK’s SEC opener. Jones has made 12 of 23 field goals in his last three games. He made just six of his 12 free throws on Saturday and is just 11-of-20 from the line for 55 percent over his last two games.

Began the game against Alabama by making just one of three free throws in the first two minutes. When Jones missed the first of two free throws at the 19:40 mark of the second half, Kentucky was four-of-12 from the foul line for the afternoon. Jones did nail a three-pointer from the top of the key at the 18:41 mark to give the Cats a 41-36 lead in the second half.  With 6:656 left, he rebounded Marquis Teague’s airball and scored to give the Cats a 62-57 lead. That would turn out to be Kentucky’s final field goal.

- Big bounce-back game against South Carolina. The sophomore scored 20 points, most since his 26 against St. John’s on Dec. 1. Was a perfect eight-of-eight from the floor until missing a three-pointer late. Did have four turnovers and just three rebounds, but was much more aggressive on the offensive end. After game, Calipari said now was the time for Jones to resist “going toes up and eating Cheetos” and instead work even harder.

- Started to show some more signs of life in win over UALR at Freedom Hall. Jones had 10 points and six rebounds. It was his first double-figure scoring game since his 14 points against North Carolina on Dec. 3.

- Made just one-of-nine shots and missed all four of his free throws, but grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds in win over Louisville. The rebound total was his highest since he grabbed 15 in Final Four loss to Connecticut.

- After sitting out last two games, returned to action against Lamar. Scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds in 27 minutes, but still appeared to be bothered by his hand injury.

- Did not dress for team’s win over Loyola of Maryland.

- Did not dress for team’s win over Samford on Dec. 20. Calipari would not give a timeline for the sophomore’s return, but said he will be fine.

- Dislocated his pinkie on his left hand (shooting hand) just 3:14 into game against Chattanooga. Ended up playing a career-low 10 minutes and did not score for the first time in his Kentucky career.

- The day after the Indiana game, Jones answers his critics via twitter.

- Scored a career-low four points with a career-low one rebound at Indiana. Also had six turnovers, two shy of his career-high. Five of those turnovers came in the first half. Took a career-low three shots. After the game, John Calipari said UK got “absolutely zero” from the junior.

- Named the SEC’s Player of the Week on Dec. 5.

- John Calipari called Jones’ game against North Carolina “his best” after the sophomore scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

- Scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds in win over St. John’s on Dec. 1. The sophomore made 11 of 16 free throws.

- Offense picking up as he scored 17 against Radford and a season-high 19 in win over Portland. Still looking for his first double-double of the season.

-  Jones scored a season-low six points against Old Dominion in finals of Hall of Fame Classic. He played 35 minutes and did not have an assist. He also picked up a technical foul.

- Jones scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Penn State. He has scored 15 points in each of the last two games.

- Scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds in win over Kansas.  Has made nine of 18 field goals in first two games of the season.  Also blocked three shots against Kansas. Jones had five games of three-or-more blocks last season, including three games in which he blocked four shots.

- Was involved in an accident along with teammate Stacey Poole while riding in a car in 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 11, the early morning on the day of Kentucky’s first game. Jones suffered only minor injuries and denied a report that alcohol was involved. He did not start the game that night, scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds in 25 minutes. After the game, Jones met with the media to talk about the accident.
