Wesley Woodyard was not a Longhorn

Almost forgot. Happened to be in my car this morning when I caught a bit of Mike & Mike on the radio. Mark Schlereth, better known as “Stink,” the former NFL lineman and sometime soap opera star, was the guest. NFL was the topic when the subject turned to the Denver Broncos, Schlereth’s former employer and now his hometown team.
To his credit, Schlereth made a point to throw some praise at ex-UK linebacker Wesley Woodyard, saying that the free agent had electrified the Broncos’ defense.
Unfortunately, Schlereth said he just couldn’t remember where Wooydard was from, though he believed it was . . . Texas.
Texas?
Uh, nope.
By the way, neither Mike corrected their guest.
