This is UK coach Rich Brooks after this morning’s practice, where he opens by saying that Randall Cobb did participate in some practice reps, but that the sophomore’s availability Saturday at Georgia will be a game-time decision.

Kentucky’s Mr. Do Everything, Randall Cobb talks about his 73-yard punt return for a touchdown, his 11-yard run for a touchdown, his receiving and his passing (2-of-4 for 46 yards). Asked about his job description, Cobb said, “Play football.” He also talks about the Wildcat formation, and what the Cats have shown, and haven’t shown.

ESPN blogger Chris Low is doing a mid-season review of all 12 SEC schools. He just checked in with his Kentucky review. Randall Cobb is his UK offensive MVP. No surprise there. Micah Johnson is his defensive MVP.

Just when you thought Kentucky might be toast, the Wildcats (3-3, 1-3) come back swinging and pull off their biggest win of the season. Their 21-14 win at Auburn last week is just what they needed for a little momentum heading into the second half of the season.
