- Nate Allen of the NW Arkansas Times writes that Pelphrey’s revolving door is problematic.
- Doug Segrest of the Birmingham News writes that Florida is the unanimous No. 1 of the pre-season football magazines.
- But Paul Finebaum writes in the Mobile Press-Register that Urban Meyer will probably leave Florida after this year.
