Poll: Should UK ban its athletes from Twitter?

With the recent Twitter problems concerning first Randall Cobb in football and now Josh Harrellson in basketball, this seems like an appropriate poll question:

Poll: Near 50-50 split on Kanter’s eligibility

In an earlier poll, there was about a 50-50 split on whether you think Enes Kanter will be eligible to play this season. But I probably let that poll close too soon. Be sure and vote. And leave a comment, if you wish.

Polls: Billy G. gets a failing grade

And people say I’ve been hard on Billy Gillispie over the past couple of weeks.

Our last poll question: What grade would you give Billy Gillispie this year?

The results:

  • A – 13 votes
  • B – 13
  • C – 67
  • D – 136
  • F – 164

Poll question: Meeks or Patterson?

A comment from Jared on an earlier post struck me as a good poll question.

Jason wrote:

My question is who is more valuable to Kentucky – Meeks or Patterson?

If you had to let one go to the NBA, which would it be?

So I put the same question to you faithful blog readers. The question is in the poll slot on the right.

As for the last poll question: More of you thought that UK could still make the NCAA Tournament without winning the SEC Tournament than those who thought the Cats have to sweep in Tampa to make it to the Big Dance. The count was 130-119.

Secretary of State Grayson knocks Stewart on Twitter

Trey Grayson

Trey Grayson

Apparently Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson wasn’t too happy with Kentucky’s 73-70 loss to LSU on Saturday.

Or he wasn’t happy with one particular player, anyway.

On his Twitter page, Grayson wrote:

Maybe AJ Stewart should consider quitting again if he is going to leave his man wide open for a game winning shot.

You can find Grayson’s Twitter page here. Or click the jump to see a copy.
