Don’t worry about all the confusion concerning the television/radio outlets for this weekend’s plethora of Kentucky sports. I’ll be I’m in Connecticut for the UK-Penn State basketball game at Mohegan Sun. That means I’ll be liveblogging. Gametime is 12 p.m. Blog stars at 11:30 a.m. Thanks, as always, to everyone who tunes in.

John Calipari and his Cats open the regular season tonight against Marist at Rupp at 7 p.m. Liveblog starts at 6:30 p.m. If not before. You can use Facebook or Twitter to sign in and have your comments posted without moderation. Or you can just dream up a clever user name. Take your pick.

Join us this morning for an open chat about last night’s Kentucky-Morehouse basketball game, or other topics. The Cats rolled to a 74-13 first half lead and cruised to a 125-40 victory. The UK starters were 24-of-24 from the field in the first half. Kentucky ended up shooting 72.7 percent for the game. Kyle Wiltjer led the way with 26 points. Eloy Vargas grabbed 12 rebounds.

It’s finally here. And — of course — we will be liveblogging Kentucky’s exhibition basketball opener tonight when John Calipari’s Wildcats face Brian Lane’s  Transylvania Pioneers at 7 p.m. The liveblog should crank up around 6:30, if not before. Often, it’s before.
