Kentucky individual player notes

Karl-Anthony Towns is on a roll. Devin Booker’s aim is a bit off. Tyler Ulis doesn’t turn the ball over. Dakari Johnson is hitting the glass. Marcus Lee made a nice contribution at Georgia.

As Kentucky prepares for Florida, a look at some individual player notes:

Devin Booker: Made just two of nine shots from the floor at Georgia on Tuesday. The freshman missed three of his four three-point attempts and is one-of-eight from behind the line over his last two games. He’s six-of-23 from three over his last five games.

Willie Cauley-Stein: The junior scored just four points at Georgia, but two came on a key dunk off a missed free throw late. Cauley-Stein had just four rebounds in 24 minutes. He missed five of his seven shots. He did block two shots and has blocked eight shots over the last three games.

Aaron Harrison: Has scored in double figures in three of his last four games after scoring 16 points in win at Georgia. After going two-of-11 from the floor against Arkansas, Aaron made five of nine shots at Georgia. He scored Kentucky’s first nine points of the second half. His basket from the right wing at the 3:51 mark tied the game at 62-62.

Andrew Harrison: Followed his 18-point effort against Arkansas with 12 points at Georgia. Andrew has made eight of 20 shots over his last two games, including four-of-nine from behind the three-point line. Over his las four games, Andrew has made six of 13 three-point shots. And on a night when Kentucky committed just three turnovers, Andrew was charged with one in 31 minutes.

Dakari Johnson: Scored six points in 12 minutes at Georgia. The sophomore was a perfect four-of-four from the foul line. Over the last seven games, Johnson has made 12 of 13 free throws. Johnson had two offensive rebounds in Athens. He now has 30 total rebounds in 92 minutes over his last four games.

Marcus Lee: Scored four points in nine minutes against Georgia. This after failing to score against Mississippi State or Arkansas. Lee took four shots in Athens. He has taken 28 shots in SEC play this season. Lee also had three rebounds at Georgia, including two offensive rebounds.

Trey Lyles: It was a tough Tuesday for the freshman, who made just one of five shots and finished with two points. It was his lowest point total since Lyles failed to score against Providence on Dec. 1. Before Tuesday, Lyles had made 28 of 43 shots over six games since returning from strep throat.

Karl-Anthony Towns: Scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win at Georgia. Scored 17 points in second half. Towns made eight of 12 shots. Over his last six games, the freshman is 28-of-35 from the floor. Over his last nine games, Towns has scored 116 points and grabbed 74 rebounds.

Tyler Ulis: After scoring 14 points against Arkansas, the freshman failed to score at Georgia. He missed all four of his shots, three of which were three-pointers. Ulis did have five rebounds in 31 minutes. It was his most time on the floor since he played 33 minutes at Florida. Ulis led UK with four assists at Georgia and did not commit a turnover, the second straight game in which he did not turn the ball over.
