Today was “offense day” at Kentucky football practice, which meant that we got a few post-practice minutes with offensive coordinator Neal Brown, who pronounced his pupils as being “in a good place.”
Jennifer Smith has the full transcript of Brown’s comments, but in this video he talks about his belief that this year’s group will play at a faster tempo. That was something Brown wanted to do last year, but could never quite get accomplished.
He also talks about running back Jojo Kemp, the sophomore who led UK in rushing last year. Kemp is part of a quartet of backs — Kemp, Braylon Heard, Stanley Williams and Mikel Horton — that should play Saturday against UT-Martin.
