ARLINGTON, Tex. — Let’s take a look at the NCAA Tournament numbers for Kentucky and Wisconsin heading into the Saturday night showdown.
The Badgers have shot 48 percent or better in three of their four games. They made double-digit three-pointers in the first two games. They made 10 of 12 free throws in the overtime win over Arizona in the West Region final.
Bo Ryan’s club has not done a great job on the boards. Against Baylor’s length, the Badgers got offensive rebounds on only 26.7 of their opportunities. But they have done a good job of keeping the opponent off the offensive glass — Arizona’s 34.2 OPR is the best by an opponent in the four games.
