Today’s SEC football predictions

Here's a look at today's SEC football schedule with predictions.

Note: It's an idle Saturday for Kentucky, which travels to Mississippi State on Thursday for an ESPN primetime game.

Georgia at Vanderbilt (12:00, CBS): Georgia has a ton of injuries and is coming off a 41-26 home loss to Missouri last week. At 0-3, Vanderbilt is looking for its first league win. Georgia 28, Vandy 27.

South Carolina at Tennessee (12:00, ESPN): After taking Georgia into overtime before losing 34-31, Tennessee has had two weeks to prepare for South Carolina, which is fresh off a 52-7 rout of Arkansas in Fayetteville last week. South Carolina 35, Tennessee 20.

Florida at Missouri (12:21, SEC): Florida lost running back Matt Jones for the season to a knee injury. Missouri lost quarterback James Franklin for the next three-to-five weeks with a separated shoulder. Florida 20, Missouri 10.

Auburn at Texas A&M (3:30, CBS): Johnny Manziel and the Aggies played a large role in Gene Chizik's firing as Auburn coach with a 62-13 win over the Tigers last year. Gus Malzahn has Auburn back in the Top 25 but this will be a tough task in College Station. Texas A&M 41, Auburn 28.

Arkansas at Alabama (7:00, ESPN): Welcome to the SEC, Bret Bielema, whose Razorbacks were steamrolled by 45 points last week against South Carolina and now tonight face Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. Alabama has allowed one touchdown in its last four games. Alabama 24, Arkansas 3.

LSU at Ole Miss (7:00, ESPN2): Ole Miss has been hit with a rash of injuries. LSU has been hit with a rash of effective offense this season. LSU 45, Ole Miss 22.
