The University of Louisville announced this morning that it has received a $3 million donation to its athletics department.

Jody Demling reports:

On Thursday morning, U of L did it again. The school announced a $3 million donation from the local Planet Fitness franchise that will be used for the expansion of the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

U of L’s hopes is the donation will help the complex nearly double in size the weight room (currently 10,500 square feet) and training area (3,000 square feet).
