Report: Michael Dyer will play for Lousiville

As expected, it appears that former Auburn running back Michael Dyer will play for Louisville. His mentor, Arkansas Baptist College president Fitz Hill, told George Schroeder of USA Today that Dyer will play for the Cardinals this season.

“He’s excited to have an opportunity to resume his career,” Hill told USA Today Sports on Thursday evening. “Many people doubted that Michael would ever make this comeback, and it’s here.”

Bryan Curtis of Grantland wrote a terrific story on Dyer recently, and I led my Wednesday notes column with the fact that the addition of Dyer will help an already potent Louisville offense.

Rick Bozich of WDRB had a different slant on the Dyer dilemma.
