SEC Network to have two-hour pre-game show

HOOVER, Ala. — Here at the SEC Football Media Days, commissioner Mike Slive just gave his 20-minute state-of-the-league address, which included his self-described “brag bag” and a bit of news.

Slive said that the SEC Network, which is scheduled to launch in 2014 in association with ESPN, will not only televise three conference football games each Saturday but will have a two-hour pre-game show that will originate from a different conference campus venue each week.

Not sure what will happen if ESPN’s College GameDay will be at an SEC school that Saturday, which will no doubt be the case on many occasions.
