This is the seventh in a series looking at the 10-year tends of SEC football teams.
Here is a look at LSU’s 10-year trend.
Most people thought Nick Saban would be a tough act to follow in Baton Rouge, but Les Miles is heading into his ninth year as the coach of the Tigers. Miles won a BCS title his third season, 2007, and he returned to the title game at the end of the 2011 season, only to lose Saban and Alabama.
The past three years, Miles’ record is 34-6, including a 20-4 mark in the SEC. His teams have finished the year ranked in the top 10 in five of his eight years at LSU.
Overall, Miles’ .802 winning percentage is the best of any LSU football coach who has coached more than 20 games at the school.
