Former Mark Stoops’ pupils invited to NFL Draft

The NFL has released its list of 23 players that are expected to be invited to New York to be on-site for the NFL Draft, which begins April 25 and runs through April 27.

The interesting thing is that national champion Alabama and Florida State each have four players on the list. And two of the Florida State players were coached by former FSU defensive coordinator and new UK head coach Mark Stoops.

Cornerback Xavier Rhodes and defensive end have been invited, along with former FSU qarterback E.J. Manuel and offensive lineman Menelik Watson.

Woerner was coached by new UK defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot, who coached the defensive ends at Florida State.
