As of this morning, despite Kentucky’s 16-point loss to a sub-500 Vanderbilt last night, ESPN’s resident bracketologist Joe Lunardi still has Kentucky in the field of 68 for the NCAA Tournament.
Lunardi has UK as a No. 12 seed playing Virginia in a play-in game in Dayton next week.
Virginia lost by 19 points, 75-56, to North Carolina State in the ACC quarterfinals on Friday.
Update: Jerry Palm of CBS has Kentucky in his “first four out.”
Lunardi did tweet this last night:
Don’t hold me to this. Need some study time. IN: Boise, LaSalle, MTSU, Ole Miss. OUT: Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Maryland.
