Indiana’s ruined Senior Night a lesson in bad timing

A weird thing happened last night at Indiana. Instead of celebrating Senior Day with a ceremony before the Hoosiers’ final home game with Ohio State, IU waited until after the game. An Indiana victory and the school would clinch its first outright Big Ten title in 20 years.

One problem, however. Indiana lost. Ohio State pulled off the 67-58 upset and the disappointed IU seniors were forced to give their speeches to a disappointed crowd.

This didn’t keep Indiana from cutting down the nets after the game, however.
