Reese Kemp receives key to city of Nicholasville

At a meeting of the Nicholasville City Commission today, Reese Kemp received a surprise.

The 16-year-old freshman at West Jessamine High School, who suffers from cystic fibrosis and diabetes, thought he was appearing before the council to talk about his Reese's Resoruces project an Reesse's Bucket List. Instead, he was there for another reason.

Kemp received a key to the city of Nicholasville.

I wrote about Reese in the Herald-Leader this morning, about his friendships with past and current University of Kentucky basketball players, and how he is trying to help people just as he has been helped by others.
