After his team’s big overtime win over Missouri, John Calipari heaped praise on Alex Poythress, Archie Goodwin, Ryan Harrow, the crowd, Willie Cauley-Stein. For a moment there, I thought he might even give credit to the media. No such luck.
Still, the coach said his team had a “collective will to win” in overcoming a four-point halftime deficit, losing a lead in regulation, but coming back to beat visiting Missouri 90-83.
“When our guard play is good, we’ll be fine,” said Calipari.
After a scoreless first half, Goodwin finished with 18 points. Harrow grabbed eight rebounds. That’s right. Ryan Harrow grabbed eight rebounds.
