Former Kentucky assistant coach Mike Summers, who was headed to Western Kentucky, has changed course and will land in Los Angeles.
Summer has been hired as offensive line coach at Southern Cal, reports Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports.
The 56-year-old Summers, the son-in-law of Joe B. Hall, was on Joker Phillips’ staff the past three years at Kentucky. He had worked previously with Bobby Petrino at Louisville, the Atlanta Falcons and Arkansas before returning to Lexington.
