SEC: Florida goes on road; LSU tangles with Tennessee

* Florida travels into the Tigers’ den to face Missouri tonight. Florida handled the SEC’s newest member easily in Gainesville last month. Tonight’s game is at 7 p.m. on ESPNU 9 p.m. on ESPN.

* Roquez Johnson the latest player suspended by Mississippi State basketball coach Rick Ray. More trouble for a team that has now lost 10 straight games.

* Is second-place Alabama really the second-best team in the SEC? The Tide has been on a roll of late.

* Tennessee basketball’s path to the NCAA Tournament will be one step at a time. The Vols are coming off a huge leap with that blasting of Kentucky last Saturday.

* Different methods, similar results have Tennessee and LSU playing solid down the stretch. The two teams meet tonight at 9 p.m. on ESPN 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
