Mike Mayock puts Larry Warford as No. 3 guard for draft

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock has posted his position rankings heading into the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

And Mayock has former Kentucky offensive guard Larry Warford rated as the third best guard heading into the draft.

Remember, a UK offensive lineman has not been taken in the NFL draft since 1993.

Here is Mayock’s top five:

  • 1. Chance Warmack, Alabama
  • 2. Jonathan Cooper, North Carolina
  • 3. Larry Warford, Kentucky
  • 4. Kyle Long, Oregon
  • 5. Brian Winters, Kent State

Note: Mayock has Bjoern Werner ranked as the No. 1 defensive end. New UK coach Mark Stoops and new UK defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot coached Werner at Florida State.
