Ryan Harrow’s goose eggs continue

John Calipari is know for turning out excellent point guards. Derrick Rose. Tyreke Evans. John Wall. Brandon Knight. Marquis Teague. The coach has a reputation for developing one-guards for NBA careers.

But the production line has hit a snag with Ryan Harrow. The sophomore point guard, who sat out last year after transferring from North Carolina State, is to the point where he was bench today in favor of former walk-on Jarrod Polson.

Harrow responded by going scoreless for his second consecutive game. Not only that, Harrow did not have an assist or a rebound in UK’s 88-58 loss at Tennessee.

As for Polson, Calpari said in the post-game press conference that Polson and Julius Mays were the two Kentucky players who battled. “The only two,” said Calipari.
