Seth Davis is not a Marshall Henderson fan

In his “Fast Break” column for this week, Sports Illustrated refers to Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson as “classless.”

He writes: “I realize Henderson is an emotional player, and he's having a heck of a season for the resurgent Rebels. But that does not excuse him for running over to the Auburn student section to taunt the fans after he sank the game-winning free throws in Saturday's 63-61 victory. It's not like Henderson had a stellar game, either. He needed 13 shots to score 15 points, and as a team the Rebs shot just 4 for 17 from the foul line. I have no doubt that Henderson has many more winning moments in his future. Here's hoping that when they arrive, he chooses to act like a winner.”

Henderson is a clueless punk, who given his arrest record already and why he was arrested and sent to jail, will probably return there shortly after his eligibility is used up at Ole Miss.

I checked Davis’ bio and it didn’t mentioned he had played college basketball. SO what reference dors he have to compare to someone hitting the shots to ever winning a game?

  3. J says:

Henderson is a great player how he chooses to play the game is on him, he remindes me of a Reggie Miller, the person that gets u off your game and ups his game, and by the way HOTTY TODDY

  4. Mike says:

None of the people dissing Henderson for his antics in the Auburn game ever mention how the Auburn fans were taunting Henderson since before tip off. This is according to the announcer during the game.

  5. Bax says:

I was at the game. The Auburn fans started on Henderson even before the game started. I’m not saying what he did was right, but it was a mild gesture compared to what was being gestured and shouted at him throughout the game.
