Remember two years ago when Kentucky fans found their way into some of the best seats at Louisville’s KFC Yum Center and ended up rooting the Cats on to a 78-63 win over the Cards?
Remember how there were rumors of planned repercussions for such behavior, that U of L athletic director Tom Jurich was going to find a way to punish those Louisville fans who gave their tickets to Kentucky fans?
It hasn’t happened, reports Rick Bozich of WDRB.
“Our philosophy is that our fans make their donations and purchase their tickets. They can use them as they choose,” Brad Barber, U of L’s assistant athletic director for tickets and administration. “We hope they use their tickets to come out and cheer for Louisville or give them to friends that will. But we haven’t made any calls or sent any messages about how to use their tickets.”
So will there be another Big Blue Nation invasion of the Yum Center on Saturday?
