Video: Jarrod Polson on Louisville game

His first two years on the Kentucky basketball team, former West Jessamine star Jarrod Polson did not make on the floor when the Cats played Louisville. That should change on Saturday as Polson has played in all 11 games and is averaging 14.6 minutes per game.

The junior could play a key role against Louisville’s pressure defense. The Cards are turning opponents over at a rate of nearly once every three trips up the floor. Plus, Louisville’s press often wears down opponents, meaning that depth and conditioning can be a factor.

Here is Polson talking before practice about the fact that being a Kentuckian he knows a lot about the UK-U of L rivalry, but at the end of the day his team just wants to win.
