  1. Only offensive coordinator Neal Brown, defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot and offensive line coach John Schlarman have been announced by UK as members of Mark Stoops’ first coaching staff. Expect more as the week progresses.
  2. Minnesota and Tubby Smith’s mustache improved to 11-1 with a 70-57 win over North Dakota State last night.
  3. The Reds got their leadoff man, acquiring Shin-Soo Choo, along with utility man Jason Donald, from the Indians for Drew Stubbs and Didi Gregorius.
  4. North Carolina’s Roy Williams be checking out Andrew Wiggins tonight.
  5. Anthony Davis had 13 points and eight rebounds in his return to the Hornets last night. 
  6. Kentucky center Matt Smith has signed with an agent and always wanted to say that.
  7. Sam Bowie reveals he may have stretched the truth before that infamous 1984 NBA draft.
  8. Texas A&M offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is on Texas Tech’s radar.
  9. Louisville football’s home schedule for 2013 is, well, not the best.
  10. Archie Goodwin has dropped out of CBS’ list of top five freshmen.
