Report: UK to hire Jimmy Brumbaugh as D-line coach is reporting that Mark Stoops is hiring Jimmy Brumbaugh to be UK’s defensive line coach.

A former All-SEC defensive lineman at Auburn, Brumbaugh has been an assistant at East Mississippi Community College. Before that, he was an assistant at Syracuse and Louisiana Tech. He was also strength and conditioning coordinator for LSU duringthe Tigers’ 2007 national championship season under Nick Saban.

He has also coached at Tennessee-Chattanooga and Jacksonville State. Brumbaugh is a native of Gainesville, Florida and played his high school football at Keystone Heights, Florida.
