Chad Bishop of the Bowling Green Daily News reports that Bobby Petrino is on the Western Kentucky campus today, presumably to talk about the Hilltoppers’ opening for a head football coach.
Willie Taggart was named head coach at South Florida last week, sending the ‘Toppers into the coaching search business.
There are now reports that Petrino will be named WKU head coach this afternoon.
So UK’s 2013 opener will be Mark Stoops vs. Bobby Petrino.
Bobby Petrino is on the campus of Western Kentucky University.
