Football Scoop is reporting that Florida has indeed hired former UK coach Joker Phillips to coach wide receivers.
The site says, “Florida: Sources tell us Will Muschamp has agreed to hire Joker Phillips (wide receivers plus additional duties). Look for Joker to be announced & to start working later this week.”
There were rumors of this last night.
Guess we know why he was in such a hurry to ditch the UK gear.
