Crunching some numbers from UK’s win:

  • Kentucky shot 51.1 percent from the floor.
  • That’s the second straight game UK has 50 percent or better.
  • Cats shot 64.5 in win over Lafayette.
  • UK shot 41 free throw attempts.
  • That’s the most since taking 44 against Baylor in South Region final last year.
  • Kentucky got just 29.6 percent of its offensive rebound opportunities.
  • Morehead got 35.6 percent of its offensive rebound opportunities.
  • UK averaged 1.133 points per possession.
  • Morehead averaged 1.020 points per possession.
  • UK had 13 turnovers and just 11 assists.
  • That’s first time this year it has had a negative assist-to-turnover ratio.
  • Archie Goodwin scored a career-high 28 points. His previous best was 16.
