Tennessee picks up big basketball commitment

Ok, so the Tennessee football team lost over the weekend, but the basketball team got some good news on Monday morning.

According to various reports, Robert Hubbs, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Newbern, Tennessee has committed to Cuonzo Martin and the Vols. Hubbs is ranked 12th nationally by Rivals.

As Jeff Borzello reports, Hubbs wasn’t even on the national map until playing well this summer in AAU tournaments. He was ranked 36th before playing very well at the end of the summer season.
