In case you missed it, two former UK football players were signed to NFL practice squads over the holiday weekend.
The Miami Dolphins signed offensive guard Chandler Burden, who had been cut last week. Burden was a four-year letterman for UK who started on last year's offensive line. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dolphins.
The Arizona Cardinals signed defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, who was on the Cardinals' practice squad for most of last season. Lumpkin was a four-year letterman for UK, graduating after the 2010 season. He was signed as an undrafted free agent last year by Arizona.
