A few notes after Kentucky’s 32-14 loss at Louisville:
- Louisville’s 219 yards rushing is most against UK defense since South Carolina gained 288 last season.
- Kentucky rushed for 93 yards, so the team that has won the rushing battle has won the last 17 games in the series.
- The 466 yards allowed by UK is the most since South Carolina gained 639 last year.
- Louisville’s four rushing TDs most UK has allowed since Florida rushed for four touchdowns last season.
- Maxwell Smith threw for 280 yards, three shy of his career high achieved last year against Ole Miss.
- Smith’s passer rating was 130.24. It was 137.14 in the win over Mississippi in 2011.
- Smith completed 19-of-36 passes against Ole Miss. He was 35-of-50 today.
- The 50 pass attempts are the most by a UK quarterback since Andre Woodson completed 32 of 50 for 358 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in the 2007 Music City Bowl against Florida State.
- Woodson thew 62 times in the game before, a 2007 loss to Tennessee. He completed 39 that day for 430 yards and six touchdowns.
- LaRod King’s career-high eight catches for 77 yards are the most by a UK receiver since Matt Roark caught 13 balls for 116 yards against Mississippi State.
- The last one-game win streak in this steak was when Kentucky won at Louisville in 2002, then lost the next year.
