Louisville suffered tough fall camp news on Friday as head coach Charlie Strong has announced that sophomore wide out Michaelee Harris has torn an ACL for the second time.
Harris caught 37 passes for 455 yards and two touchdowns a year ago, trailing only Eli Rogers’ 41 receptions on the team. Harris caught at least one pass in each of the Cards’ 12 regular-season games, then tore his ACL and did not play in Louisville’s loss to North Carolina State in the Belk Bowl.
Strong announced that Harris tore his left ACL during drills. The Miami native missed the 2010 season after injuring his MCL.
