Report: Shabazz Muhammad suffers high-ankle sprain

Gary Parrish of CBS Sports reports that UCLA freshman Shabazz Muhammad, considered the nation’s top prep player last year, suffered a high-ankle sprain in his very first workout with the Bruins.

UCLA coach Ben Howland told Parrish he expects both Muhammad and fellow freshman Kyle Anderson to be ready for the team’s trip to China next month. Anderson is coming off thumb surgery.
