This just in: Louisville’s revolving door for men’s basketball just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning.
The latest to find himself on the outside looking in is Rakeem Buckles, the oft-injured forward who will be taking his talents (and injured knee) to Florida International to play for Richard Pitino, son of Rick.
This news follows the recent exodus (pushing out) of Stephan Van Treese to make room for new signee Montrezl Harrell.
“Rakeem is one of my favorites during my tenure at Louisville,” said U of L Coach Rick Pitino in the release. “He’s just a fantastic young man who we wish great success at FIU. We will miss his personality and work ethic, but he is in good hands with Richard.”
One question: Does handing Buckles a bus ticket mean that freshman point guard Terry Rozier is eligible?

As Jeff Drummond of the Cats Pause tweeted, poor Buckles didn’t even get to be an unrestricted free agent.
