Charlotte Observer columnist Tom Sorenson knows who he believes the woeful Bobcats should take with the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft on June 28.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
Sorenson wrote that while he likes Florida guard Bradley Beal, he thinks Kidd-Gilchrist would be the best fit for Michael Jordan’s club.
That’s Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, a 6-7 small forward out of Kentucky, in the electric blue shoes with the silver stripes. If the power goes out, Kidd-Gilchrist will be the easiest player to find.
Nice shoes.
“Thank you,” Kidd-Gilchrist, 18, says.
See how nice he is? If the Bobcats keep the pick, they ought to draft him – not because he’s nice but because his game is.
Meanwhile, CBS Sports’ Jeff Goodman points out that new Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap is represented by Leon Rose of Creative Artists Agency. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is also represented by Rose.
