Could two ex-SEC hoops players end up at Ohio State?

Update: Anthony Gill has committed to Virginia.

According to the blogs Buckeye Battle Cry and the O-zone, Mississippi State transfer Rodney Hood and South Carolina transfer Anthony Gill may visit Ohio State this weekend.

Hood decided to leave State after Rick Stansbury retired as coach and the Bulldogs hired Clemson assistant Rick Ray. Louisville was thought to be in the mix because Hood chose MSU over the Cardinals. Duke is apparently a possibility, according to some reports. He may also look at Florida State.

Gill departed Columbia after Darrin Horn was fired as head coach. He is reportedly looking at Ohio State and Virginia.

Virginia is also interested in another South Carolina transfer, Demontrae Harris.

    John-
Was at UK for graduate work in the early 90′s and loved your stuff then… thanks for the link love to our Buckeye-centric website.

Question in return… I’d love to get your perspective on KY HS phenom Drew Barker from Hebron. OSU is pretty high on him, what’s the take on him in the bluegrass?

    Thanks again!
