It didn’t take long after Louisville’s amazing comeback flipped Florida 72-68 in the West Region final in Phoenix before the buzz turned to a potential Final Four matchup with — yikes — Kentucky in New Orleans.
That’s if Kentucky beats Baylor today in the South Region final in Atlanta.
Rick Pitino set the stage, saying in the post-game press conference, “There will be people in Kentucky who will have a nervous breakdown if they lose to us. They’ve got to put the fences up on the bridges.”

Calipari just said HI ! as I walked by him in the Westin and only waved. I didn’t tell him how to coach today ! wow, I am doing good. Looks like he had two bags of doughnuts or something like that, ha ha.
also ….. looks like Pitino is saying KY will WIN today and be in the final four. so we can play ‘em and give ‘em a total breakdown. although it looked like they were having one y’day they way they were playing but UL still won.
Yes, but beating Louisville will be uneventful and expected.
