Doney’s tweet: “UK linebacker Ridge Wilson was arrested on felony drug trafficking charges last night per @WDRBNews”
A senior-to-be, Wilson was suspended indefinitely earlier in his career for allegedly striking his girlfriend. Then head coach Rick Brooks ultimately allowed Wilson to return to the team. He was reinstated in September 2009.
The Louisville native missed the last part of last season with a shoulder injury. He played in nine games with 47 tackles and two sacks.
