According to the Arizona blog Desert Swarm, Kentucky has picked up its interest in Aaron Gordon, a 6-foot-7 forward out of San Jose, California, ranked as the No. 6 player in the Class of 2013 by Rivals.
An excerpt:
Gordon listed UA among a five-school list that also included Pac-12 rivals Washington and Oregon. UW assistant coach Paul Fortier was omnipresent for Archbishop Mitty’s games. Rounding out Gordon’s list was New Mexico, and a Kentucky team that he said had been coming after him hard recently.
The SB Nation blog on Arizona reports that Washington and Arizona are “locked” in a battle for Gordon. Then again, Washington has lost top recruits to Kentucky before.
