Post-game videos from UK’s win over U of L women

Last year, Kentucky’s women lost by 26 to Louisville before a packed house of 22,152 in the Yum Center. Today, before a packed house of 7,951 at Memorial Coliseum, Kentucky returned the favor, beating Louisville 74-54. A’dia Mathies scored 20 for the winners, who hit 10 three-pointers. But offensive rebounding was a key, as both coaches, Matthew Mitchell and Jeff Walz, said afterward. UK had 15 offensive rebounds to 14 defensive boards for the ‘Ville.

  • Kentucky made 10 of 19 three-pointers, with Mathies hitting four-of-six.
  • Both teams turned the basketball over 26 times.
  • Kentucky was ranked 12th, Louisville 10th going into the game.
  • Ten different UK players scored.

Here are the post-game videos of the two coaches, plus UK players Mathies and Amber Smith.
