A closer look at Doron Lamb’s injured eye

UK sophomore Doron Lamb met with the media today to talk about his return to New York as the Cats meet Kansas on Tuesday night in Madison Square Garden. But the Queens native was carrying a pair of protective goggles who shield his injured left eye.

Lamb was accidentally poked in the eye by teammate Anthony Davis during Friday night’s win over Marist. He said he has been using the goggles in practice, but will not use them in the game on Tuesday.
