- LSU star receiver Russell Shepard is happy to be back, reports Scott Rabalais of The Advocate. After serving a suspension, Shepard saw his first action of the season last Saturday against West Virginia.
- At Monday’s press luncheon, Joker Phillips said he has a “dragon to slay” on Saturday, reports Kyle Tucker of the Courier-Journal. According to the latest AP poll, it is the biggest, baddest dragon in all the land.
