MISCELLANEOUS

I bet if you told Frank Vogel and Walter McCarty in 1996 that Vogel would be McCarty’s boss and would be forced to fire him to keep in NBA head coaching job in 2011, neither one of them would have believed you.
On a more serious note, the Indiana Pacers had no business being in the playoffs this year. Vogel did a teriffic job with them and I’m surprised he is being put in this position.
