UK football taps new Georgia pipeline for cornerback

Jamie Newberg of ESPN.com is reporting that UK has picked up a commitment from cornerback Shawn Blaylock.

The 5-foot-11, 172-pounder out of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia reportedly also had offers from Middle Tennessee and Arkansas State.

Stephenson receiver DeMarcus Sweat recently committed to UK.

Michaell Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently blogged about the high number of players out of Stephenson who have committed to major-college schools.

    On a positive note, maybe these 1-Star players could encourage a 4 or 5 star player to come later. Obviously we have never been able to regularly compete in SEC football with players who were not wanted by UGA or other contenders.
