Terrence Jones may be on the fence, but don’t look for Brandon Knight to pull his name out of the NBA draft.
ESPN’s Andy Katz just posted a story in which he talks to UK coach John Calipari about the recent combine here this week.
In it, Calipari says:
“You had some guys tell (Jones) he’s a 1-2-3-4 pick in the draft next year and there were some telling him you should go back and there were others saying he should stay in the draft,” Calipari said of Jones. “Brandon got the confirmation that he wanted [that he should stay in the draft] and DeAndre met with five or six teams. Kevin Ware, the former Tennessee signee who talked to Louisville but committed to Central Florida, just before the New York Times ran a story that questioned the circumstances of his recruiting, among others, has U of L is back on his short list.
Kevin Ware had kept a profile since telling the AJC last Thursday that he was de-committing to Central Florida.
On Tuesday night, the 6-foot-4 guard from Rockdale County High School was active again on his Twitter account and announced “Got my list of schools.”
The world awaited.
Ware tweeted “no order kstate, kansas, uga, ucla, uofl” – which we did our best to translate to Kansas State, Kansas, Georgia, UCLA and Louisville.
Apparently, Central Florida is still a possibility.
