The 2011-12 Ky Wildcats B-ball Team begining to remind me of the 1967-68 team, only with greater expectations for a championship. Dan Issel – A. Davis; Mike Casey – Gilchrist; Mike Pratt- a larger Wiltjer; Phil Argento – M. Teague.
I’m amazed when everyone compares Wall and Knight, they forget that Wall was(is) almost eighteen (18) months older than Knight as a Freshman. That makes a lot of difference in physcial and emotional development. Makes for even greater value as to what Knight accomplished, don’t you think John? Needs to be added to the discussion!
This talk of moving Knight to shooting guard with Teague as the point guard next year is just pushing Knight out the door. Knight’s NBA value will never be higher than it is now. SG’s and SF’s are a dime-a-dozen. To come back to Kentucky to play shooting guard would be a NBA ambition big mistake for him. To come back to get a degree is also a mistake. He can get a degree in the summer between seasons. He could finish his degree work during the lock-out; he could do it online or after he is through with the NBA. For his future, now is the time to to the NBA, get the money, and take care of it, for his future!
