Some quick stats stuff from UK’s 74-67 win over Washington:
- Terrence Jones’ 17 rebounds is the most by a UK player since DeMarcus Cousins grabbed 18 boards in the Cats’ win over Louisville on Jan. 2.
- Brandon Knight’s eight turnovers are the most by a UK player since Jodie Meeks turned it over nine times against Kansas State on Nov. 28, 2008.
- Josh Harrellson had a career-high 14 rebounds.
- Harrellson had one double-digit rebound performance before this season. He now has two.
- Kentucky made just three of 17 three-pointers for 17.6 percent. And won. The Cats made just 12.5 percent (2-of-16) last year in the NCAA Tournament against Cornell and won.
- UK’s points per possessions figured out to 0.972. Washington’s was 0.900.
- In its 106-63 win over Virginia on Monday, Washington averaged 1.429 points per possession.
- Washington made 17 of 26 threes in its win over Virginia. The Huskies made just three of 13 against UK.
- Terrence Jones played a career-high 36 minutes.
- Harrellson played a career-high 34 minutes.
